Community development concept
In cooperation with the planning office ARGUS Concept, the municipality of Spiesen-Elversberg has drawn up an integrated community development concept (GEKO), which shows the effects of demographic and socio-economic change for the municipality of Spiesen-Elversberg. Extensive citizen participation took place in the preparation of this concept.
The GEKO is an informal plan and can therefore be changed. The concept can and should be adapted to changing knowledge, needs and political priorities at any time. The following fields of action are included in the concept: - Urban development and housing - Social and educational infrastructure - Local economy and local supply - Technical infrastructure - Transport and environment.
