We can proudly say that we have two Kneipp facilities in Spiesen-Elversberg:
One is in Herrenstrasse in Elversberg and the other is "Zum Rötgestal" in Spiesen. The rules to follow, how to use the Kneipp facilities correctly and what effect they have are described below:
Basic rules: A warm body is a prerequisite for cold water use - never tread water with cold feet. Warm yourself up beforehand with gymnastics or running. Never do two applications (arms and legs) at the same time. The interval between applications is two hours.
Technique: Walking in stork step: alternately place one foot after the other - lift your knees really high so that your feet are completely out of the water. The tips of the toes point down. After 30 to a maximum of 60 seconds, wipe off the water, but do not dry off. After use, warm up or put on warm footwear.
